The TPS-XTXRF is an RF wireless transceiver module designed to transform an Isys 12" or 15" tilt model touchpanel into a 2-way wireless touchpanel. The module is easily installed on any new or existing* touchpanel enabling bidirectional wireless communications with the Crestron control system via the TPS-RFGWX gateway (sold separately). The TPS-XTXRF employs 2.4 GHz spread spectrum RF technology for the ultimate in long-range wireless reception. Crestron's "Wi-Fi friendly" technology permits selection from 10 possible bands within the 2.4 GHz spectrum to minimize the possibility of interference with non-Crestron RF equipment including all 802.11 devices.

When installed, the TPS-XTXRF module maintains the clean, flowing appearance of the Isys chassis design, mounting neatly onto the rear of the touchpanel base with easy access provided to the removable NiMH battery pack (included). The TPS-XTXRF will not interfere with other installed options such as video, RGB, audio and Ethernet, all of which may be fully utilized when the touchpanel is operated in wired mode. The RF-enabled touchpanel may be operated in wired mode when Cresnet is connected, switching automatically to wireless when Cresnet is disconnected. A TPS-XDS Docking Station (included) simultaneously charges the battery pack while providing operating power to the touchpanel.
*The TPS-XTXRF is not compatible with TPS-4500 models having a ZA number of ZA11323 (see underside of touchpanel base.)
