XiO Cloud Premium Subscriptions, Explained

Part of Crestron's reason for making this change was so that licensing wouldn’t present a barrier to anyone who wanted to implement the power of the XiO Cloud platform.

XiO Cloud Premium allows customers to purchase a subscription based on the device count that they anticipate meets their yearly needs and add devices as needed throughout the year — with a “True-Up” process implemented at the end of the year to adjust device counts. That process gives clients a lot of flexibility: They can readily add devices throughout the year when needed and then purchase the additional subscription coverage for them during the annual “True-Up” process. That’s especially helpful for those enterprise customers who want to review and adjust their subscription needs at fixed times of the year. With device-based licensing, XiO Cloud Premium subscriptions are purchased and applied per device and pooled across your account, allowing flexible allocation based on each room's technological complexity and monitoring needs.
