Crestron Sync - PC Installation 
Crestron Sync is a tool for synchronizing Crestron devices such as the CEN-ISERVER and the CEN-IDOCV with Apple® iTunes® (up to version 10,6).
To start
Download and install:
Crestron Sync for PC v1.2.1 (EXE - 10.1M)

Crestron Sync software will automatically start after installation, simply follow the onscreen prompts. To add CEN-ISERVER's after the first time installation, follow the below steps (note, the instructions below are included in the HELP menu in the Sync Software)
To configure Crestron Sync

From the Crestron Folder in Windows, Select Crestron Sync and then click on the Crestron Sync icon to launch the Sync software

Right-click inside the Crestron Sync window and click Add New Device.

Enter a name for the device, e.g., My iServer.

If the device name is changed while connected to iTunes, this will disconnect the iPod. To re-connect, select the device and click Connect Selected.

Type the IP address of the Crestron iServer (See the CEN-ISERVER manual for details on how to find the IP Address).

It is recommended NOT to select the Automatically Connect check box. This allows the user to select the Crestron device connection each time they start iTunes. (If the check box is selected this will connect the device automatically each time iTunes starts or Crestron Sync starts.)

Click OK to add the device to the Crestron Sync window.
To add devices, re-open the "Add New Device" dialog and configure the additional devices as described above.
The status icons indicate the connection status, as follows:

If the "Device Not Found" status icon comes up after entering the IP information, follow these steps:
- Windows XP SP2 or Vista
- 500MHz Pentium III (1 GHz Pentium 4 recommended)
- 1GB of RAM (2 GB recommended)
- 256 color setting (High color 16-bit recommended)
- 800x600 screen resolution (1280x800 recommended)

Notes :
1) Crestron Sync software is not compatible with PowerPC™ computers.
2) VMware™ Parallels™ Desktop for Mac, and other virtualization software may cause connection issues with your iPod® device and Crestron Sync Software. For normal operation, if any VM type software was running, the system should be restarted running only the Mac OS X.
Crestron Sync will not automatically add itself to Startup on a Mac. This must be done manually one time, as follows:
To configure Crestron Sync

Run the application (Launch the Finder, Go to Applications, then double-click CrestronSync icon).

Right-click (or Command+left click) the application icon in the Dock.

Click Open at Login.

If the "Add New Device" dialog is not automatically displayed upon starting Crestron Sync for the first time, then right-click inside the Crestron Sync window and click Add New Device.

Verify the IP address of the iServer.

Use the Crestron Toolbox to connect to the device via TCP/IP or USB and double-check the IP address from the System Info tool.

Verify that the network is configured correctly.
