DM-RX1-1G

Wall Plate DigitalMedia™ CAT Receiver, Black Textured

Discontinued

This product has been discontinued. Please contact Crestron True Blue Support at 1-888-CRESTRON for a replacement solution or more information.

A low-cost DM CAT receiver with single HDMI output. Mounts in a single-gang electrical box.Faceplates not included.

The DM-RX1-1G is a DM® CAT receiver that installs in a single-gang electrical box to provide a convenient interface for a single display device as part of a complete Crestron® DigitalMedia™ system. The DM-RX1-1G is ideal for wall, lectern, and floor box applications in a boardroom, classroom, auditorium, or residence. It provides a single HDMI® output and connects to the head end using a single Crestron DM cable[1]. Standard gang-box mounting allows for installation adjacent to an Ethernet jack (Crestron MP-WP183 or equivalent) for a total connectivity solution[2].

DigitalMedia™
As the leader in HDMI and control system technologies, Crestron developed DigitalMedia (DM) to deliver the first complete HD AV distribution system to take HDMI to a higher level. DigitalMedia allows virtually any mix of HDMI and other AV sources to be distributed throughout a home, office, school, or virtually any other facility. The DM-RX1-1G distributes uncompressed digital video and audio signals 425 feet (130 m) using Crestron DM cable[1].Multimedia Display Interface
A single HDMI digital AV output port is provided on the DM-RX1-1G, supporting HD 1080p60 video and WUXGA computer signals with HDCP, 3D, and multi-channel HD lossless audio — all through one connection. The HDMI output can also handle DVI signals using an appropriate adapter or interface cable[3].A single DM cable connects the DM-RX1-1G to a DM switcher or transmitter.[1] Multiple DM-RX1-1Gs may be installed to handle each display in a multiroom distribution system, all fed from a central DM-MD series switcher. Or, a single DM-RX1-1G can be fed straight from a DM CAT transmitter to provide a simple solution for extending a computer or AV signal to a single display.[4]Simple Wall Box Mounting
The DM-RX1-1G is designed to be installed using a 1-gang electrical box or plaster ring, or attached to a single rack rail in the back of an equipment cabinet. It also fits a 1-gang opening in a typical 6" deep floor box. The DM cable is terminated to the rear of the receiver using screw terminals. The unit is powered via the DMNet® connection. Please refer to the DigitalMedia Resources Webpage at http://www.crestron.com/dmresources/ for additional design tools and reference documents.
