• Take control of the system directly from the XiO Cloud platform, driving interactions between the processor and the platform. Some examples are sending triggers to control the system power, turning displays on and off, and giving you control of maintenance mode.
• Run your own bespoke health check, customize what it means to define a “healthy space” for your organization, and adjust the elements that define that status to better manage and service spaces.

Sensors and Maintenance Mode

So, what does this look like in actual practice? Some examples:

• You can connect occupancy sensors directly to the XiO Cloud platform to trigger room actions, such as shutting the room down after a pre-set period of zero activity in that space, preserving resources, extending device life, and saving money. Sensors connected to a room processor can now feed data and analytics to the XiO Cloud platform from any source that processor “talks to.”
• Need to alert a technician monitoring your organization that a space is getting a fix or a tune-up? The Maintenance Mode feature allows a programmer to place a banner on a space or lock a touch panel, telling the tech — and the rest of the team — what rooms aren’t up and running.
